UPDATE: Home Inspections
Dear Partners,
On Friday March 27, 2020, Governor Jay Inslee issued a memo providing additional guidance for real estate professionals regarding his Stay Home, Stay Healthy Proclamation (20-25). In his memo the Governor clarified certain activities, including home inspections are permissible under certain circumstances and limitations. Please review the Governor’s memo.
The Commission fully supports the Governor’s Essential Business Guidance and will resume our requirement of a full home inspection on every Commission home loan.
Home Inspection Waiver Requests, as detailed in the Commission’s March 26th Program Announcement, will only be accepted on a limited case-by-case basis with strong documentation supporting why a home inspection could not be obtained.
