Temporary Home Inspection Waivers By Request
Dear Partners,
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and mandated social distancing requirements, many homebuyers may not be able to secure the services of a licensed home inspector prior to closing. We understand and want to help.
The Commisson will waive its home inspection requirement, by written request, for any borrower unable to obtain a full home inspection. This is a temporary measure to alleviate one of many Coronavirus related obstacles effecting lenders' abiity to close loans in a timely manner.
We have provided for your convenience a sample waiver request all borrowers will need to sign and date and upload to the Pre-Closing Compliance file. The sample waiver can be found under the Home Advantage and House Key Opportunity forms page.
