Conducting Business as Usual

March 25, 2020
The Washington State Housing Finance Commission is Conducting Business As Usual!

Dear Partners:

We are happy to say that our homeownership programs and services have remained fully open for business, despite the turbulence caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The WSHFC staff is working remotely for the time being, and is available for you every step of the way via phone or email.

We'd like to once again remind our lending partners they can and should continue to reserve loans and upload files as usual. Even with market volatility, we still have several options available on our Home Advantage and House Key Programs. It's business as usual at the Commission.

In our January 24th Program Announcement we shared best practices and tips for reserving Commission loans. Here's one more for you. It's a particularly relevant one during periods like this when rates may shift due to market volatility.

Immediately BEFORE entering Lender Online to complete a new reservation please revisit our Today's Rates page. Refresh your browser if the "Effective On" date in the top right of the page is anything different than the current day. This step is helpful in the event that rates shifted since you last viewed the page.

If you missed our previous program announcements you can view here.

Thank you for participating in the Commission’s programs.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Corinna Obar
