IHFA - PMI Delivery Requirements

Dear Lending Partners:

Idaho Housing Finance and Association (IHFA) have been receiving and purchasing closed conventional Home Advantage and House Key Opportunity loans since March 2018, along with the corresponding second mortgage DPA loans associated with each transacation. The Commission and Idaho Housing and Finance Association are very excited as the transition has gone well.

IHFA is requesting Lenders to please make sure of the following in regards to Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI).

  1. Lender is required to activate the PMI and upload proof of activation.
  2. IHFA is also requesting that lenders not transfer the PMI. IHFA will transfer the PMI once the loan has been purchased.

Please forward this program announcement to the appropriate department within your organization.
