Credit Reports Will Be Required

Dear Lending Partners:

Due to tax law changes in 2019, credit reports will be required for certain loan programs.

Beginning January 1, 2019, credit reports for all borrowers must be uploaded with the Pre-Closing file documents via Lender Online for the following loan programs:

All House Key Opportunity 1st mortgages.

Home Advantage 1st mortgage with ANY of the following downpayment assistance programs:
ARCH DPA
Bellingham DPA
HomeChoice DPA
Pierce County DPA
Seattle DPA
Tacoma DPA
Veterans DPA

Home Advantage 1st mortgage loans with a Home Advantage DPA (0% or 1% rate) will not require borrower credit reports.

The Pre-closing checklists, Home Advantage and House Key Opportunity manuals (Sections 2 & 13), and the Downpayment Program manual have been updated accordingly.
