House KeyOpportunity Downpayment Assistance Loan Program

Opportunity is a downpayment assistance, second mortgage loan program with a 1.00% interest rate, payment deferred for 30 years, up to $15,000 and combines with the Opportunity first mortgage loan program.

Borrowers must be first-time homebuyers or buying in a target area.  Borrowers must also qualify for the Opportunity first mortgage loan program.

Clark/Kitsap/Pierce/Skamania/Thurston/Whatcom $75,550 $94,400
All other counties $63,950 $79,900

Borrowers must attend a Commission-sponsored homebuyer seminar prior to reserving funds. Cash back to borrowers is not allowed.

MAXIMUM LOAN AMOUNT

Eligible households may qualify for a maximum loan amount of up to $15,000 based on need. There is no assessment of need for Veterans to be eligible. A participating loan officer can help you determine the sales price you can afford, how much cash you will need to close, and how much you can borrow.
