FORECLOSURE FAIRNESS PROGRAM

This is a list of housing counseling agencies that are funded by the Commission under the Foreclosure Fairness Program to provide default and foreclosure prevention information.

The Commission does not endorse these agencies or their services.

If you are working with one of the agencies listed above and have a complaint regarding the services provided to you by that agency, please complete the Foreclosure Fairness Program Housing Counselor Complaint Form.  The Washington State Housing Finance Commission will review any complaint submitted to the Commission regarding housing counseling agencies listed above.  Please note the Commission cannot intervene in your case.  Please continue to work with your current housing counselor or seek a referral to another counselor on this list by calling the Washington Homeownership Resource Center at 1-877-894-4663 or visit their website at www.homeownership-wa.org.

For more information on the Foreclosure Fairness Program or to file a complaint against a mediator, you should contact the Department of Commerce (www.commerce.wa.gov/foreclosures).

If you wish to file a complaint against your servicer, you should contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (www.cfpb.gov), the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (www.dfi.wa.gov) or the Washington State Attorney General’s Office (www.atg.wa.gov).
