The Commission has helped families purchase farmland and equipment since 2009. Now, with the launch of Farm Protection and Affordability Investment (Farm PAI) Program, we are partnering with land trusts across the state to open doors to even more farmers - not just now, but for years to come.

Valdez Farm, Whidbey Island
Whidbey-Camano Land Trust
Currently managed as pasture and hayfields, with areas of wildlife habitat, this 156-acre property was at risk for development in this high-cost area but is now preserved.
