Aaron McGrath is a retired lawyer living in Seattle, volunteering with several local nonprofit organizations. He served as Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Amazon, leading the legal work for various parts of the company from 1999 – 2024. His global responsibilities included real estate and construction; logistics; shopping; digital books, video, and music; and consumer devices. Before joining Amazon, Aaron worked in the real estate group of K&L Gates. He served as a VISTA (AmeriCorps) volunteer for migrant farmworker housing, and was the founder and executive director of a community-based nonprofit housing developer. He attended Willamette University and NYU Law School.
