The Washington State Housing Finance Commission's Multifamily Development Division helps create and preserve affordable rental housing across Washington by providing financing tools such as the 9% Housing Tax Credit program, the Bond/Tax Credit (4%) program, nonprofit housing financing, and land acquisition assistance.

The division works with housing developers and nonprofit organizations to expand affordable housing opportunities, while also supporting specialized initiatives focused on seniors, manufactured housing communities, energy-efficient development, and partnerships that connect housing with health and homelessness services.
